My Mission

This website is dedicated to all the families who have a deaf or hard of hearing child and are trying to understand how they want their child to communicate.

It took our family longer than it should have to find our path to hearing technology that could help our daughter learn to listen and speak. I hope to create a safe place where you can read about what it’s like, challenges along the way, connect with resources and hopefully not feel alone, if you are considering hearing aids and cochlear implants for your child.

Almost six years into raising a deaf and hard of hearing daughter, I am finally at a place where I can take a deep breath and begin sharing my journey as her mother.
